Introduction

Welcome to PDF Translator. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Service. By accessing or using the Service you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Acceptable Use

• Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise prohibited. You must ensure you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and process each file.
• You are solely responsible for the files and content you submit. This includes obtaining any required consents or licences from rights holders.
• Only selectable and extractable text is processed. Text embedded exclusively in images or non‑OCR scans is not translated unless OCR is performed prior to upload.
• Translated files are retained temporarily and deleted from our storage 24 hours after processing, unless otherwise required by law or for dispute resolution.

Credits and Charges

Translations consume credits according to the number of characters and the selected translator (Default or PRO). Purchases of credits and any subscription payments are processed securely via Stripe Checkout.

• Credits required for a translation are reserved or deducted at the beginning of the processing job as described in the application UI.
• One-time credit purchases and subscription charges are processed by Stripe Checkout. The minimum single purchase is 10,000 credits. Volume discounts and any active plan discounts are applied automatically at checkout.
• Subscription plans (Bronze, Silver, Gold) provide recurring monthly credits, plan discounts and features. Plan details (price, monthly credit amount and benefits) are set per plan and billed monthly.
• You may manage or cancel subscriptions through the Stripe Customer Portal. After successful payment we record the transaction and add credits to your account according to the payment confirmation.

Privacy and Security

We process files and related data in a secure environment. Translated PDFs are retained temporarily and deleted 24 hours after processing. We do not disclose file contents to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service or when you expressly authorize support access via the 'Report bug' feature.

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated, anonymized metrics about product usage and traffic. We do not send the contents of uploaded files to Google Analytics. Analytics data helps us improve the Service. You can opt out through your browser privacy settings or standard opt‑out tools.

Limitations of Liability

We endeavour to provide the Service with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee perfect preservation of layout for every file. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

Intellectual Property

The platform and its content (including code, design, trademarks and documentation) are our proprietary property or licensed to us. You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload, subject to the licences you grant to us to operate the Service.

Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will provide notice via the Service or email. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
